I was in charge of designing the exteriors of both the TCS and Four Seasons branded planes. For Four Seasons, their requests were to have their logo prominently displayed, a desire for a black color-changing paint, and for their custom leaf pattern included somehow. Considering the many design elements which were important to them, I decided to place the leaf pattern on the belly of the plane in a subtle tone-on-tone application that ever so slightly crept up the sides of the plane. TCS’ needs were the nearly the opposite since they needed a more generic exterior that could work with not only their brand, but also with any other brands of their partners who leased the plane.
