National Geographic Expeditions was a white-label partner of TCS World travel, who planned, operated and marketed their private jet expeditions. Direct mail brochures were the most impactful sales tool for National Geographic’s travelers. Using the brand guidelines provided by the partner, the senior designer and I created brochures that captured the essence of adventure that was so important to their brand identity. We made sure to use rich, colorful imagery that is emblematic of the photography for which National Geographic is known. We also made sure to highlight their commitment to environmental initiatives as well as showcasing their experts and explorers from around the globe—both of which were incredibly significant to their brand.
